I have been fostering kittens and cats for the last 5 years. Helping to give these kittens the best start to life gives them the best opportunity to finding their forever home. I've been working with Coast to Coast Cat Rescue and was trying to come up with an idea to help raise funds for the never ending work they do. So what better combination that kittens and yin?!

So 2023 was the year that rescue kittens started visiting The Yin Side for yin classes. Check out the awesome write up we got on RNZ here as well as our appearance on Seven Sharp here.

Kitten yoga is great socialisation for the kittens and for people to come and maybe find their new forever home. So far we've rehomed 25 kittens from theses classes and had endless amounts of kitten cuddles and laughter!  

 

Kitten yoga is back for 2025 on Saturday 15 February and Saturday 15 March 10am and 3.30pm.

Classes are $40 per person with all money going to Coast to Coast Cat Rescue. Each session includes a hour of yoga and kittens followed by cup of tea & sweet treats and as many kitten cuddles you can handle!

 

No experience required and suitable for all plus

kids 7 plus.
